Made in Japan: Akio Morita and Sony is an autobiography of Akio Morita, who is the co-founder and former chairman of Sony Corporation. It was originally written in English in 1986 and has been translated to 12 languages. This book talks in detail about the Japanese culture and business methods and spirit.

The narration starts around the time, World War 2 was going on. The author's family was well to do, and was well respected by other people. War brought high losses both to Japan and to their family. Author also served in Japanese Navy. He knew the circumstances and effects the war would have on the country.
